In fact it was Marlene who won one of them and she is delighted with it. Thanks very much to Bernard for providing it. (She asks - how often do they like watering and do they need to be fed?)

Needless to say I'm overwhemed at my luck at having won Eric's wonderful picture (which will be finding its way back to Wales).

Chris

Hi Chris, not sure which one you won, the smaller of the two was about ready to be re/potted, the roots were coming out at the bottom, I feed mine with Miracle
Grow every two weeks this time of year and keep them fairly moist. The Mother plant
which my late wife grew seems to love it in my conservatory, should look like this
in time, good luck BernardView attachment 67246

Bernard, Vicki won the smaller plant and she has repotted it. Thanks for the advice on how to care fo it. I'm replying because Vicki can't get to her computer at the moment.

Beryl Reid created the Brummie character Marleen, Janice Nichols i believe came from The Black Country, and worked as a chiropodist at Beaties in Wolverhampton. Max

i think Janice Nichols came from Wednesbury. I once knew a good friend of hers ( not that i eber met Janice), who lived in Aldridge, & I am sure Janice lived in wednesbury
