gone but not forgotten
Hi, Nishja,
I think I asked the name of that pub I used to tiptoe over to from the exit by the shop and I think someone answered but I can't remember it. You can see it on Streetcam looks a bit sad these days and isn't a pub now. The only blonde ice dancer I remember was Dianne Towler.

One thing that did happen to me one night, was in the centre of the ice, I accidently brushed against a pretty ice dancing lady and a clip on my belt caught her short skirt and pulled it off her.
She was left standing minus skirt, with me about 10ft past with skirt hanging on my belt. Caused a sensation in those days.
I skated back red-faced to give her skirt back. I remember her name was Shirley, somewhat older than me, and later she was quite gracious about it...
