Hi all,

My first post here. This is a bit of a long shot but I'm wondering if anyone has any information or photographs of my great grandfather Charles Ernest Sparrow. He died in 1946 due to an industrial accident, when my grandmother was only 11. I would desperately love to find a photograph of him for her before it's too late as she doesn't have one. He was also apparently involved in boxing at some point. Known addresses include Oak Place, Holyhead Road and Newcombe Road in Handsworth.

The death seems to have been recorded as Ernest Charles and this is the name recorded on the e roll at Newcombe Road with a Dora Sparrow.

Thanks for your reply! Yep, we know all about him (he is definitely Charles and yep, his wife's name was Dora) - just searching desperately for a photograph.
