I've been looking into the family, was was lucky enough to have been given some WWI details about my Grandad and his brothers. The brothers are Tom, Dan, Frank(grandad) & Jack Moran. 3 of the brothers joined the South Staffs, but Frank, the youngest would have been 20 in 1914, joined The 2nd Batt, The Royal Welch. Was he too young? I've a card from him completing his training in Sudbrook, and keen to get to the front! -

Jack was unfortunately killed in France, but the other 3 were lucky enough to survive.

Does anyone know where I start finding info on the Regiments, and trying to find further details?

thanks.

Eric,

Sorry for the delay in replying, doing family stuff - I've seen the site before, but I didnt find what I was looking for - will try again and see if I can find anything out.

I also seem to have relatives in the Navy- I really dont know where to start with this one....

Della.
