Some photos of Ansells

I like the last picture, delivering to the Talbot,Digbeth (Bull Ring Tavern now)...I was cellarman there around then :peaceful:

Great photo's.....nearly everyone who lived in the Aston area had family member who worked there at one time or other....we used to play on the back of the lorries that my family members drove for Ansells.....

I think it's been known as "The Bull Ring Tavern" since the 70's,but it will always be "The Talbot" to me !

It's Smith Steven. My brother is Albert Lyndon who was a checker at the Cross then Aldridge and finally Gravelly Park.

Yes I remember Pete and Albert, Aldridge Depot and Gravelly Park, been a long time. Tell Pete I still see Danny Baker, Pat Parnell, and Bruno, my brother Terry is still at work but not at the brewery.
