Smith Street School Hockley

Thank you for allowing me into the group, I now live in Yorkshire and have done so for some 50 year. I was born in Bimingham (QE Hosp) in 1943 and I am sure that Smith St School was my first School. My father was the caretaker at this school in the late 40's after returning from war service in the Fleet Air Arm. His medal allocation form (1948) shows the address as Smith Street School Hockley.
