I know this is a long shot its a smith again,if anyone is going to the birmingham library any time soon could you have a quick look for an Ernest Smith from Nechells please ive been looking for such a long time and getting know where, i know he had 12 brothers and sisters and was born in cannock he moved to birmingham and married my nan Mary Kathleen Blake,unfortunatly Ernest lost an arm not sure when but then became ill,he had bowel cancer and died in dudley rd hospital at the age of 29 on the 3rd of November 1953,at that time my mom was only 1 so she never knew him and now my nan has past away there is no one to ask,im trying to find a picture of him for my mom because she has never seen him,any help will be greatly appreciated thankyou.
