Sylvester Valentine Smart married Ioleen Morris in Stoke on Trent,1950
ref. Mar qtr 9b 1159
The Staffs record shows her name as Joleen,they married At St. Marys, Bucknall.
My cousin is the Verger there,I will ask if any records are kept at the church,so as to obtain his fathers anme.
He died in ~Stoke in 2004 birthdate 1st February 1920.
Cannot find any birth records perhaps born abroad,Ireland?.
