Does anybody out there have any photos or memories of any of the Singleton newsagent shops in Birmingham.
Firstly 94 Clements Road in Yardley. Was Singletons from pre war until 1956.
This was my Grandparents business, my Mum and Dad were the managers after the war until 1956. I was born there in 1949.
108 Brays Road Sheldon by the Barrows Lane roundabout, run by Mum and Dad from 1956 till 1959, I lived on the premises. It was then run by my Uncle from 1959 until I'm not sure.
The shop at Garrets Green Lane and Barrows lane island run by other uncle.
Then finally 144 Monyhull Hall Road, Kings Norton Owned and run by Mum and Dad from 1970 to 1984.I lived there until 1979.
Would love to see what's out there, fingers crossed.
