Yes, I was very sorry to read about Jimmy yesterday he was a great performer with some great songs.

This one takes me right back, it always made me want to get up and dance...

Although he was from the West Indies his original backing band, taken on when he signed to the UK label Island Records, the Shakedown Sounds were musicians from the West Midlands. An interesting read here...
