This is all I can find for John Lewis with residence Sherlock Street.

We have experts on BHF who could probably help but they would need more information.

In the 1862 directory, John Lewis at 234 Sherlock St is listed as a brushmaker and from1867 to 1880 at 58 Sherlock St as a haberdasher o he is at tr later a draper. In 1882 -84 he is at 140-142 Sherlock St as a draper, but has disappeared in 188, 140 being a draper john Jackson vincent
