Shelley James Christian

master brummie
Seeking information on James C. Shelley. Born 1890 Birmingham and married Alice M.N. Dallaway in 1913. Father and mother could be John Shelley and Lizzie. Possible children Amanda b.1921, Dulcie V. b. 1923, Gladys A. b. 1925 and James C. b. 1927. James served in the Worcestershire Regiment and the Labour Corps during WW1 and it's his army service details that I'm seeking.

Regards

Peter

Re: James Christian Shelley

on the absent voters list for 1918 there is a james CHRISTOPHER shelley of 34 doe st. giving his army details as - 413784, Sgt., Lab, Corps

Re: James Christian Shelley

I think it will be the correct one as in 1925 he is still at 34 doe st. with an alice shelley

Re: James Christian Shelley

Hi Shera,

Thank you very much for your information. It is the right man as his army number and rank for the Labour Corps tally with info I already have on him.

Hi Shera,

Thanks again for info.

Where can I get Absent Voters lists from? This would be very helpful in my research on the 2nd Battalion Worcesterhire Regiment 1914.
