Sharman Family - Birmingham (1960s)

Hi,

I am trying to track down the Sharman family living in the Birmingham area.

It all starts with Lilian Gertrude Jenkins who was born 12 Oct 1887 (Fareham) and passed 2 Dec 1960 (Dudley Road Hospital, Winson Green, Warwickshire) - she grew up in Newbridge, Abercarn, Monmouthshire and married a Henry 'Harry' Curtis Sharman and had two children with only John Henry Sharman surviving. Harry passed away in 1924 and then in 1928 Lilian married a Thomas George Price although he would flip is name to George Thomas Price and in 1935 the couple moved to 627 Stratford Road, Sparkhill (1935). Followed by 77 Waverley Road, Sparkhill, (1936 - 1939) 93 Waverley Road, Sparkhill (1940 -19523 ) before settling in 2 Back 80 Alum Rock Road, Washwood Heath (1954-1960) - this is when Lilian passed away.

Lilian's son John Henry Sharman (28 Sept 1908 - Jul 1966) married a Mayda Rogers (1911-1978) in April 1936 in Newport Market, Glamorgan - they had two children John (1937-1997) and Barbara Joan (1943). After they left Newbridge - they lived for a time in 17 Langley Rd, Birmingham.

John I believe married a Catherine Wright and had two children - Anne-Marie (1969) and Peter Anthony Sharman (1973)

I appreciate this is a very long shot but I am looking to make contact to say Hi and introduce myself as being a cousin. To learn more about the family and Lilian with hopes to see if I can find a photo of her which may help me identify if she is one of the brides in a photo I possess. And to find out if her younger brother Thomas Jenkins WW1 medals ended up with her family - so I know that they are with family and not lost out there.

Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks
