Scott Arms, Great Barr

From around 1860 up to the mid 1920's my wifes 3x Grandparents lived next door to Scott Arms in the Days Building which was a row of cottages on Newton Road. Think they can be seen in a few of the pics from around turn of century.

That's interesting. Do you know where the name "Days building" came from or anything more about it?
My 3x great grand father Robert Craggs was the Landlord of the Scott Arms. He died in 1860. His
daughter Maria married Thomas Day and they're my 2xg.g. parents. I wonder if its just coincidence that the building has that name?

dont know for certain john but a very good chance days building was named after thomas day maybe someone will know
