Sausage

Hi, has anyone got a recipe for proper sausage, real sausage, not this artificial stuff, the sausages that used to burst in half in the pan, i live in France and the sausage her is disgusting, really really disgusting, i yearn for the proper English sausage, the one you could buy about 10 years or so ago, my mom brings sausage over when she comes but it does not last long, as we buy a whole pig 3 or 4 times a year we make our own but i just cant find a good recipe, hence, still hate the sausage, even when i have made it my self

Hi La:

I don`t have a sausage stuffer on my KitchenAid Mixer otherwise I would be inclined to try some home made sausages. I do, however, like this web site for recipes and instructions for cooking. The sausage section looks great. :grinsmile:

thanks a lot, will have a look, have looked on loads websites but not found a good one, fingers crossed this is the one, we have tried several recipies but can't say as they were any good, will let you know how they turn out, not doing any at the moment, maybe March, we got freezer full of pork and Lamb at minute
