My Great Grandmother, Sarah Ann Buscher was married to a Richard Wilkinson in London. He died weeks before my Grandmother was born and Sarah eventually married William Sanders. They came to Brum early in the 1900's living firstly in Aston and then moved to Alleyne Road, Bromford. Between them they had 8 children (I've found on censuses), although family folk lore suggests 12! Anyone have any more info on this Sanders line please?

After 1901 your best bet is the Electoral Rolls re William & Sarah Sanders
And their 8 possible 12 offspringers :rolleyes:
Also the Telephone Directories &/or Kellys books if any owned Shops/Businesses etc

I've had some good results on the Midland Historical Data website. It's Pay but very reasonable. I'll get myself up to Birmingham Library and have a good long session!

Hi David, do you know if Williams parents were Thomas Sanders & Matilda Storer? If so I have found 3 of Williams siblings so far, they are John, Thomas & Alfred. If this sounds familiar please contact me & I will share what info I have on them.

Further to this, I ordered what I hoped was Sarah's Death Cert but unfortunately it's not. I'm happy to post this to anyone who has an interest in this Sarah Sanders. Details are:
Sarah Sanders 63
Died 25th June 1926 at 76 Cato Street, Duddeston
Wife of Joseph William Sanders, Railway Goods Checker.
