route 66 cafe winson green rd

hi guys
does anybody recall the route 66 cafe on winson green rd the number 11 bus stopped just out side
the cafe it was always busy day and night
it was just oppersite the smiths arms pub at the corner of peel street and winson green rd and just along from
the winson green prison it used to open a basement at evening for music
i remember being in there the morning after the train robber broke out the night
and if the police came in once during the days after they came every day day and night checking peoples faces and asking questions did any body ever used the cafe i know there was a cafe facing the nick gated but this was back up the rd
and there was franks cafe on heath street and it had been put on the forum but i just wondered is there anybody knew or used it around there getting of the bus may be oryou lived around there
i had a girl friends two doors away whom the family
called the yasmins baby wear shops
