An early account of the farm. Miss Shorthouse auctioning the farm in 1828. Not a regular farm, by the look of the items, it was furnished with quality and style.

And from the Library of Birmingham, similar to post #1, this one is also dated 1903. A nice view of a lady cyclist in front of the farm. Interesting that this and post #1 must have been taken from a building opposite the farm. You can just see the wall of that building in the first photo of post #8. Was the photographer in the building just in view in the 4th photo in post #8 ? Could this have been the Lodge ?.
