I stumbled upon this thread whilst trying to track down details of where my Hillman Imp van originated and thought I'd share a photo if anyone was still reading the thread. It started life as a beige van and got painted red, then blue. Spent most of its life in Dudley so had assumed it cMe from Castle Motors, Dudley, but the VP in the reg indicates a Birmingham dealership. I've fully restored the van and done it as a chrysler parts service van from the late 60s. Would love to hear more stories from the people who worked there.
