A view of 196 Rookery Road in 1966. The modern Google Streetview shows evidence of the former advertising board on the side of the (now) house. The post to the left is that of the Rookery School boundary. Viv.
This is 214 Rookery Road in 1972 - not sure if these shops are still there. Viv.

In 1974 this was #253-255 Rookery Road, the upper storey’s just about recognisable today. Viv
nice photo mike..would think it would be very hard to work out where on the rookery road it was taken..would love to find out though
