I am looking for any relatives of William Roberts born 1878 lived in Moilliett Street and worked for Birmingham Corporation from 1900 to 1943. He had a Son William John and daughter Nellie Later Slack.

Hi yes his parents were John and Mary (Bailey) and they originated from Ellesmere/Cockshutt area of Shropshire.

Oh that's a shame. My husband's gt grandfather was a Charles Roberts who married Elizabeth Griffiths and they came from Gresford in Wales. he did have a son William, and I thought it might just possibly be the same family. Sorry to disappoint you. I am disappointed too!
