Hi
New to forum and desperately hoping to trace any Richardsons from Aston Manor/Birmingham/West Brom - I am directly related to following:

Joseph Richardson b. 1848 Nottingham but lived in Aston
married in 1862 in Birmingham to Margaret Susannah Reynolds b. 1839, West Brom

Children all born in Birmingham:

Ada b.1863
Joseph b. 1865
Thomas R b. 1870
William b. 1873
Susannah b. 1876
George b. 1881
Josephine b 1884 (my great Grannie!)

George did live with Josephine in London for a time durring WWII, over her cafe in Kensington, before emigrating to Canada (we think).

Josephine married Fritz Wild (a hotel cook)in Aston in 1906 and had a child, Frederick, before Fritz sadly died in 1909 aged 30, in West Sussex.

Any information or leads greatly appreciated.

Many thanks indeed

Lloyd, thanks.
I forgot to mention that the one who emigrated is son of the George above, so that fits dates pretty well. Josephone would have been his Aunt and I know she sold her London business around this time..

Thanks very much for this.

Just in case it helps, (?) I know that in 1891, the family were living at 41 Blythe Street, Ladywood (listed as the Milk Shop - not sure what this means) and that Joseph has died but Margaret is a Grocer.

The children are all Ivory button turners or workers and their nephew, Thomas reynolds, is an iron tube worker.

Thanks, Floss
