Rhodesian Mica Products, Sampson Road North, B11

I’m wondering if anyone out there has any information on a company called Rhodesian Mica Products? I’ve yet to find mention of it on the Internet, it’s as though it never existed.
My partner’s mother used to work there when she was young (her mother now being in her 80’s) – ‘assembling mica washers’, from what I can make out. Her mother refers to it as the RMP and says it was located in Sampson Road North, which is the Camp Hill (B11) area of Birmingham.

She must have been young. RMP, insulating material manufacturers at 57 Sampson Road North were listed in Kellys in 1946, but had gone by the 1949 edition. They had been there from before 1932, though they were then described as mica importers. However by 1940 they were described as Bakerlite moulding manufacturers. Would guess it was to do with electrical supplies like condensers. A map c 1952 showing no 57 in red is below.

She is the same age, year-wise, as QE II - so that makes her 88.
I think she met her husband-to-be there and one or two other family members also worked there.
Thanks for that info - at least I know she isn't dreaming and the place actually existed!
Maybe some pics of the place and its employees will surface, one day?
