Hi, I am looking for any relative of Henry and Augusta (nee Nohl) Reynolds who lived in Park Rd Aston. Augusta died in 1931 and in 1930/31 the electoral rolls has them both living at Park Rd Aston with their daughter Grace.
Augusta died in Jan 1931 and there is no trace of them after this Henry would have been in his eighties at this time and I have searched the BMD index for his death without success, so my only hope is if I can find a living relative to this family They had children Henry Christian Thomas, Augusta Margaret, Mabel Pauline, Ida, Ralph, Percy and Grace. I have traced Percy to Cornwall but unfortunately the trail has died out. Ralph lived I think in Crompton Rd 7 in 1903 and was a dentist, I believe that Grace moved to Hockley after her mothers death. Can anyone unlock the mystery of where Henry and Grace went after Augustas death.

HI John ,
This Is A Quick Reply And Possible Long Shot ,But When You Said They Moved In Around The Hockley Area ,The First Thing That Sprang Into MyMind Was -
There Was A Reynold,s Family Or Should I Say Possible Two Familys That Moved Ito The Lodge Rd Area , The One Was Definately On Lodge Rd ,Just Past The Church ,
And The Other One Was Just Around The Corner In Devonshire St ,
They Lived Close To Old Pat Roaches Mother , The One Lad On The Lodge Rd Was I,m Sure We Called Him Barrie Reynolds , And His MiddleName Was Henry Reynolds
The Other One I Just Cannot Think Of Her Name And I Knew Her For Years
She Just Lived Around The Corner In Devonshire St Hockley , The Post Code For Them Was 18 . Then I Believe She Went To Handsworth To Live And The Mother Ran An Ice Cream Parlour Up There And She Was Related To Tommy OMIE The Black Sabbath Guitarist, So I Thought It Might Be Worth Checking Out Lodge Rd aND dEVONSHIRE sT Hockley On The 1950,S Electrol Roll To See If There His A cONNECTION
This Lad I Called Barry I Went To School With Him And The Name Henry Comes To Mind And I,m Sure He Did Not Like The Name Henry , For What Or Reason And Decided ToCall Himself Barry , This Family On Lodge Rd Was There Up To 1960 ,
Best Wishes ASTONIAN ,
