Reeves Henry W born 1917 Birmingham

Hello all,

I am trying to find out more information about my grandfathers half brother Henry W Reeves who was born in 1917 in Birmingham to Henry W Reeves and May Cowdrill.

May and Henry married in 1914 in Birmingham; they had a daughter Dorothy Reeves in 1915 who was born in Wandsworth; so I can only assume that they moved down there after their marriage. May was born in Birmingham, but I am not sure of Henry. I believe Henry died in 1917 while serving the Army and May who was pregnant at the time moved back to Birmingham and gave birth to Henry W Reeves Jr.

May then remarried in 1919 to Denis Hoban (born 1894, Capparanny, Co. Mayo) and went on to have Walter W Hoban b. 1920, Birmingham and my grandfather Denis Patrick Hoban in 1923 Birmingham.

I believe Dorothy had one daughter Pat but that is all I know. So if anyone has either Dorothy Reeves or Henry W Reeves in their family please get in touch.
