Reading Alfred Wilmot ...Electoral Roll look up please

Shortie

master brummie
In 1911, Alfred Wilmot Reading and his wife Jane were living in Tennant Street. I would be interested to know where he was living around the 1950's or late 1940's please. He died in 1970, his wife in 1960. It is possible that his sister in law Lizzie was living with them also.

Thanks

Shortie

1947 Alfred, Annie, Alfred & Ernest Wilmot 1 back 188 Heneage St
1950 Annie, Alfred & Ernest Wilmot 1 back 188 Heneage St
1955 Annie & Dorothy Wilmot 1 back 188 Heneage St
1955 Alfred & Vera Wilmot & Roy Vickers 3 back Upper Thomas St
1960 Alfred & Vera Wilmot 55 Hope St.
Annie does not seem to be listed for 1960

Than you Mike. I wonder if the Jane I found was not his wife? She was the right age, dying in 1960. This does help although it's posed many more questions, as usual!

Many thanks

Shortie

Mike - sorry, but the name I wanted was Alfred Wilmot Reading - READING being the surname. Would you be so kind as to take another look for me please?

Cheers

Shortie

Sorry Shortie. Because I live in Reading, i think my mind tends to ignore the word !.
1947 Alfred W & Jane G Reading & Phyllis & Muriel E B Robertson , 72 Aubrey Road
1950-60 Alfred W & Jane G Reading & Muriel E B Robertson , 72 Aubrey Road

No apology needed Mike, easily done! Thank you for looking again - I wonder who Muriel Robertson was, now that's a mystery.

Shortie

Phyllis Robertson was also with them in 1947 at Aubrey Road and Murielle and Phyllis’ mmn was Reading so ? nieces. Bewdley

Births Mar 1917
Phyllis Robertson mmn Reading Solihull 6d 1380
Births Jun 1919
Murielle B Robertson mmn Reading Meriden 6d 819
Marriages Jun 1914
Charles K Robertson Maud E Reading Kings N. 6d 216a
I think Maud was the daughter of Frederick Wilmot Reading? (1911 at 18 Greenfield Road Harborne Birmingham)
So she would be Alfred's sister,so Phyllis and Muriel would be his nieces?

Well, thank you Bewdley and thank you Ladylinda - I had no expectation of this, I was merely wondering who they were, but thank you very much, I appreciate this greatly.

Mike - I find there are two Aubrey Roads, would the one you meant be Small Heath or Quinton? Somehow I expect the latter of the two.

Shortie
It lists it under Harborne, so it would be Quinton. the Small heath ones were listed under Small heath
