Thanks for the tip though Polly. Just watched my old copy of the Railway Children and blubbed in all the usual places... :cry:
Braver than me Aidan - I struggle to watch it - usually find a reason to leave the room at various times -

Is that :sick:, :crying:, :sleepy:, or :headhit:? For me its that mixture of pastoral nostalgia, tank engines and Jenny modelling Laura Ashley. Unbeatable :grinsmile:
 
What about "The 39 Steps" the journey to Scotland and the escape on the Forth Rail Bridge.
Or the "Bridge on the River Kwai and Return to the River Kwai" and of course that famous kids programme "The Titfield Thunderbolt"
