Bet you are all excited on both sides of the ocean and lets hope the ash cloud has well and truly gone by then, so there are no delays.

hi ya sue and yes although the cat is out the bag we dont mind really...it will also save me having to hide me lappy when i track their flights:D hopefully the ash cloud will not prevent the flights..oh we have one more card up our sleeve....im telling our john to expect them to arrive at the house 3 hours later than they will be...that way they can sneek down the entry and surprise him...:shh::shh::shh::D
 
not long to go now folks...a week on sunday to arrival..excitement is now mounting...cant wait..:2559::2559:
 
Well it won,t be long now Lyn, I managed to get my address book back. but not my folder. Have been advised to log out when i have read my emails.
I can still go on this or other sites though.

hi jean...sorry you couldnt get your folder back but at least you have your addresses..i lost all my when it happened to me....yes we are all on countdown now and so looking forward to having a good 2 weeks with the kids...:):)

Hi Lyn: I can only imagine how excited you are getting over Rachel and Will's upcoming visit. Won't be long now. My wait is over as of yesterday. Michelle, Toru and Keiden arrived in good shape and we are ready for a long visit for my daughter and KK which will be six weeks. Toru will be here for l7 days. They are going over the border for a few days camping and have lots of outings planned as well. It's lovely to see my grandson who is now two and a half years old, full of beans and taking everything in. I can tell you that my daughter is expecting her second child on New Year's day. We are all very happy about this. Looks like I will have to take another trip to Tokyo for this event. Lyn, stay calm I know it's hard before your loved ones arrive. Best of all have a great time.

hi alberta. yes thanks...happy to report rach and will arrived safely...blimey i was panicing a bit as they were late...was looking for a taxi to pull up but un beknowns to us they had hired a car for the 2 weeks and arrived in that...reason for delay was will had to get used to sat nav and driving on the other side of the road...:cry:
 
thanks charlie...i think they are just about ready to crash out now...the holiday will start properly tomorrow after a much needed sleep...:)
 
Hope all goes well with there trip. Tell Will to remember when he,s driving that he has to be nearest to the center of the road. which helps me when I drive back there..

hi folks..well the 2 weeks has gone all to quick..rach and will went back this morning:( but we have all had a great time..lovely to have them round the house but its all so quiet now..will..rach and our tom spent a couple of days in killin in scotand as will was so keen to go and look at his acestors buriel ground..he decends from the mc nab clan...couple of pics here of that visit...
 
dont know how they managed to fit all this in in 2 days as its about a 350 mile drive to killin:rolleyes: looks like they are having fun on one of the lochs...:)
 
thanks folks...i got though a box of tissues this morning but im ok now....:) heres a couple more from the severn valley trip...they have done the platform out as a war time theme..its looks fantastic..will post a few pics on the severn valley thread prob tomorrow...had to laff at the the stations cat..he was still sitting on the basket after we had finished our 3 hour trip:Dsons tom and john with rach and will waiting for the train...
 
I know the feeling well Lyn my daughter and grandson are coming over from Istanbul Sun for 2 weeks she missed coming in Feb and I cant go over there this year for the first time. She has been there 19/20yrs and I still weep buckets when she goes.xxx
 
hi patty im beginning to think i get worse after every visit so what i did was busied myself round the house yesterday and it does help...well that and being amonst everyone on here:) have a great time with your daughter and grandson..hope the weather is good for you all too...:) on the posative side i got my bed back as i slept on the settee for 2 weeks.:D.
