Quinton Cemetery - for Mike Gee

Shortie

master brummie
I thought I would post this, primarily for Mike, but so everyone can benefit from it.

Quinton Cemetery was purchased by the Corporation in 1912, but was not open for interments until January 1923. That gives a dateline for knowing who could or could not be buried there. According to what I am reading as I type this, it was meant for Birmingham, but residents of Oldbury and Smethwick have also availed thesmelves of it. - Shortie;)

It was actually mike-g that you were speaking to not mike gee. Thank you very much for the information, I can now rule out some of the deaths I was looking for at Quinton, back to Rowley Regis.

OOps, sorry about that. You might find that you can find the date the church ceased burying people from the church web site, to save you looking through films and wasting your time. Unfortunately, I don't know a thing about churches outside Birmingham. Shortie
