hi liz..well i was amazed how how many old pubs and buildings are still around that area..im just about to post what i think used to be a pub so maybe you can help on that one...
I took photos of the Queens Arms when I was on Macdonald Street / Barford Street. Wonder why it was closed / boarded up. As I'm sure it was still in use a few years ago.

i past there the othe day and i thought yes its number is up and not before time the gaffer over the years spent a fortune over the last five years on timber boarding up those windows nearly every other week i knew his head barmam he used to live down the lichfield rd by he aston taveren
when the decent clientele was fissing off from the pub he tryed running a cafe bar from it but it never worked out
