Punch Bowl Inn, Macclesfield, Cheshire, Where To Find Info?

Hi all

I have found a listing for a descendant at the Punch Bowl Inn in Macclesfield, Cheshire in 1857.

I would like to find out more about the pub, does anyone know of any web sites I could look at to try and find more information?

Thanks for all of your suggestions etc, pjmburns and pedrocut.

I did a bit of Google but none of pjmburns suggestions came up. I will check them out. It's the usual more heads are better than one (when a search is required), and it's proven me right.

I will be dead chuffed if I can find anything. I will let you know.
