master brummie
Had a mooch around town to day. went to the markets. Rag, Fruit and veg indoor and out, and Fish market, All good. Bought one or things to eat tonight. Then it was time for a pint. First went to the Brier Rose a J D Weatherspoons in Bennits Hill. Really busy but a nice atmosphere i would go again but perhaps at a quieter time. I then had a walk down to Digbeth and tried the Spotted Dog on the corner of Alcester st and Warwick st. What a loverly pub they sell Tradisional beer hand pulled The bar/lounge was spottles and well furnished. Unfortutunatly they dont do food. I got the bus to head home outside Birds custard factory. But by the time i got to the Old Bill and Bill Hay Mills I had to leap from the bus and get to the gents (close call) before continuing my journey. All i can say about the Old Bill and Bull is dont. Apart from that a very nice day.
