You found me George Walton Price B 1871 still at home 1881 and married 1893 but not on the 1901 census. Can you tell me if he appears anywhere else on this census night?:)

Re: George Walton Price

Just looked at you other request for Price children. Did you mean you couldn't find George Walton Price in the 1911 census?

Re: George Walton Price

My fault I my getting my George's in a muddle! So Sorry.

Its 1911 Census I am interested in for the family of George Walton Price as above and whether there are any marriages details of the children. I have Owen so don't bother with him.

In the case of the missing George, its George A PrYce (with a Y) who's is not at home on 1901 & 1911 Cenus, married to Clara E Price 1896. I am asking as she keeps appearing without him at her sister's Jessie Price in Sheffield. She is still having children though. Also there is a mysterious James Small at Jessie's House and I was wondering if it gives any profession for him....ie was he a servant, child or even Clara's lover?

Thanks so much.:)

Re: George Walton Price

Dear all but particularly Suzzane and Di Poppit.

Hope you are not cross with me for getting my knickers in a twist with the George's and will still look this up for me. Then the Prices will be complete.

I have a cousin coming next week to see me that I haven't seen for twenty years thanks to all the research this forum has done for me I am back in contact with three first cousins. This means a lot to me as I have no immediate family left! So thanks to all that helped.:)

Re: George Walton Price

Hi Anya

Of course I'm not cross and I'm sure Di isn't either:)

I did have a quick look for marriages before but will do so again.

Re: George Walton Price

Thank you, you are a treasure. It would aslo be really great if yu could go back to the census as above adn see if it give a profession for James Small.

Re: George Walton Price

Just wondering if anyone had any luck with the above?

Re: George Walton Price

Dear all,

My first cousin arrives on Satueday and I just need this final bit of info to complete my family tree. Can anyone help me or have you looked and found nothing else. Especally interested in the profession on the census record you found me of James Small living wiht Jessie Price whether he is a sewrvant, lodger or what.

Thanks to anyone that can help with the above

Re: George Walton Price

Not necessarily, I was just giving that as an example. On the original look up from the census the person did not note the professions of any of the occupants. Sorry if that wasn't clear.

Re: George Walton Price

i shall be getting a subscription to the 1911 census when it becomes available which should be 21st of this month. if no one has looked by then please remind me and i will have a go for you :)

did anyone say what james smalls date of birth and place of birth were as maybe we can see him on the 1901 census. there are a few in bham so need a bit more info. at the moment it costs "pay per view" for the 1911 so thats why you havent had a response.

Re: George Walton Price

Hi Anya

Sorry I haven't got back to you before now:(

I have had a look for the marriages but because the name is quite common it would really be looking for needles in haystacks.

Hope you have a good visit with your cousin.:)

No Suzzanne found this family in Sheffield who had been in Birmingham before. I will try and go back to the original thread and post separately.
