So while we do not have the full picture we believe your Mother was in St Mary's from 1921 until she was of working age in 1924. It may prove impossible to find where she was between 1918 and 1921. or where she went when she left the orphanage.

Hope you can follow this and agreee we have found her on the 1921 census.

We also don't think your Mom was at Fr Hudsons as a search reveals they don't seem to have taken girls until later. However, the Coleshill connection you referred to with her sister visiting may be a reference to Lily being in, what were known as, Marston Green homes which came under Coleshill. She was most likely then transferred to St Mary's in 1921. Without access to the Marston Green records we can't say for sure.
