Possibly tram crash

This photo was posted on a site devoted to identifying umknown photographs. on the back is the address of the photographer, F Holloway, 76 Soho Rd Handsworth, It has been noted that there was a tram crash in Hockley Brook on 7th March 1914 and "a later edition mentions another woman was transported to hospital having fainted at the gruesome sight of the patient's leg bone being visible-that might account for the second ambulance.". Have anyon any comments?

no clues that i can see as to exactly where the accident happened mike..can clearly see what looks to be a female patient in the back of what i presume is the ambulance..however i do believe that the trams ran down soho road soho hill and up hockley hill..
