Does anyone have memories of the Polar Bear Ice Cream Parlour in Summer Lane, it was near the corner of Milton Street I think, anyway it is
was the last but one street before Asylum Road coming down the lane.

It had a figure of a polar bear eating an ice cream cornet.
 
i`m looking for a ice cream man called david , who used to work with his brother in the great barr area in the 1970`s. believed to be married with two boys. maybe in his 60`s or 70`s now. thanks
