Although not strictly Birmingham, I expect some Brummies travelled to see some of these top bookings. Note 'Late Transport' advertised.

I went there once with some friends who played in a band, we got a lift from Birmingham so I don't remember exactly where it was.
What I do remember was the revolving stage used when the bands changed over!
