I hope you're able to visit - and please tell me what you think! The pictures are mainly of places and people that mean a lot to me that are no longer present in the same way as they were when I grew up in Erdington. Things that have persisted and that other people (when I have shown the pictures to them) remember - like the Man up the Ladder on Sutton New Road. It always surprises me how much we have in common! I'm very grateful to the team at Erdington Library for allowing me to show the pictures as it's the place where I first sat down and looked at a book and started reading for myself ...
