Perry Hall lodges

This Lodge once stood at the junction of The Avenue (Now Clivedon Avenue) and Walsall Road. The length of The (former) Avenue is now filled with housing, but I do wonder if any of the trees survived which once lined it's route.

This Lodge was one of at least two lodges attached to the Perry Hall estate. The other lodge was Regina Lodge, also on the Walsall Road.

Nice to see the old images of the Lodge!
We lived on one of the roads off Cliveden Avenue and I understood that there had been a lodge to Perry Hall there.

The area where the road turns off from the Walsall Road has all been widened off now from how it was in the 60s.
To the left of your photo was an area we called The Jungle (as mentioned on another thread) it was like a little wood with Regina Drive at the other side, the ground was quite uneven and must have contained some earth dumped from elsewhere as we used to find small pieces of mother of pearl which must have come from a button making company.
This is the area now, you can't walk through it..

It could be possible that some of those trees might have been along the driveway or at least part of the estate?

That's interesting and how lovely to have access to that green space. This is another view of The Avenue.

If anyone has a map of when Perry Hall was still standing and showing the lodges in relation to the house it'd be appreciated.
