Peregrine falcons on "Old Joe" Birmingham University clock tower

Hi Lyn, my real name is Neville, no one ever told me I'm cute- jealousy gets me nowhere!!!
I know it's off subject, as was my comment above , but does anyone watch any of the Osprey nesting sites.
I have watched them for years since taking an interest while visiting some in Scotland. Love to see them hatching out and progress they make

Apologies for the quality of these but they are camera photos of the video playing on my phone. I knew they would have disappeared by this morning (camera only shows 12 hours) and it was a bit late to put my laptop on.
The moment Neville climbs up for a better look and falls with much wing flapping. Last image shows him just visible on the ledge inbottom right corner.

7.13 this morning he clambered out again.
yes jan i watched him do the great escape again..he is so naughty and is worrying quite a few of us watchers..however i am sure he will be ok and mom and dad will be feeding him on the platform but at the min we cant see him..i am sure the uni has been informed and hopefully neville will be popped back in the nest again..trouble is he will only keep doing it..i have read he has another couple of weeks to go before he fledges so we can only hope he stays safe until then...edit...just read that parent came back with food not long ago so i would think neville is not far away
