A fascinating photograph. I wonder about the origin of the name for the building and what was done there originally.
This is an ancient viewpoint about pelicans although I believe it foes back before the Common Era (AD).
Now I'd be truly amazed if you told me that it's still a pub Lyn Guilbert - an excellent record of many of the buildings. Let's hope the area gets some attention before it's too late. Viv.
