Well, well. well seems I've got 2nd cousins everywhere LOL
Thanks to Both Neale and Natalie for the info provided. The Sheldon line I've provided Jon with seems to match the info you've supplied with a couple of dates being different by a year but that's no matter. I was aware of the Gloucester connection as you can see in one of my earlier posts and I was also aware of a name change taking place at some time but I've never been able to find out where or when it occurred. Thankfully you have now expanded the family tree passed William and by the name change solved the problem of why I couldn't get back further than him.
Invaluable information. Once again, Thank You!
One point you made, "Granny Sheldon (Annie Bache) born in Southampton" Do you have rock solid information to substantiate that. ( I will send you an email regarding that question).

Natalie, presume this is the photo you refer too. I was never sure who the lady to Jackie's left was. Thanks for clearing that up!
The photo was taken at thee wedding of Sheila Timmins and Brian Masey in about 1962, so I was only about 3 or 4 myself. It's obvious now that the Pic was a Sheldon/Masey family photo. I can now say with certainty that the photo consists of L to R. Brian Masey's Mother, Sheila Timmins ( Masey from then on) Florence Timmins (Nee Sheldon), John (Jackie) Sheldon, Kate (Nee Sheldon) and Brian Masey. With Annie Sheldon (Nee Bache) out in front.
