Hello,
The 1851 England Census shows a Patrick CONRY was born in County Roscommon, Ireland, in 1845 but resident in Birmingham with his family.......there are no further references to a Patrick CONRY that I have unearthed. A Patrick CONDRY was sentenced to 2 years imprisonment on 07/01/1861 and appears as "PC" on the 1861 England Census born in Birmingham?? Not the same person?? However, the 1880 United States Federal Census quotes a Patrick CONDRY, born 1845 in Ireland living in West Virginia.
Does anyone feel there is a connection between these three that can be developed, or I am barking entirely up the wrong tree!!
For the moment,
Tony Cocks
