I found these film clips of life in Birmingham amongst a collection of 90,000 news films by Pathe Gazette
there is one on a 40 ton stamping in Wenesbury also 2school trips with some clear shots of birmingham children

Hi Lyn I just put Birmingham in the search box and was amazed at what came up , there are about 18 pages on Birmingham .there are supposed to be 90,000films on this site so it will take a couple of years to find them all ,hope you and the other members enjoy it Tom

just had a look at the link good ... if you come to bottom of page you can play the reels one at a time wonder where the best washouses were ... after all it was 1928 so no sound ..cheers Tom
