The only thing i was wondering about Oliver is, did they change his surname to Allen or keep Allcott, not a question, just my thoughts.

I was pleased for you that your mom had given you so much information, now you know more than you did a few weeks ago so you are making progress in the right direction, we will do our best to add to your knowledge

I'm not sure on that one Bren? It is possible they may of changed it. I will ask Mom if she knew when I see her next.

Thanks. It is amazing how quickly a scribbled down family tree can grow! I wasn't expecting to write down so much and there is still more on Dad's side to find out as well!! I really enjoy playing detective though lol. This is an hobby I have meant to get into for years now and I am glad I have started! :)

Yvonne Marie Devlin (known as Parker), B 17/07/57, has 2 children - Mark William Parker but is known as Skinner since Yvonne got married to Michael Skinner, Marriage unknown, Divorce unknown. Yvonne as a Daughter named Rebekah Skinner from another relationship after Divorce to Brian ?

Catherine Victoria Parker, B 1958, has 1 child - James Adam Parker from a relationship to Tommy Burbridge. Got married to Leslie Lawrence 04/07/1998.

Janet Frances Parker, B12/08/60, has 1 child - Martin Terry from marriage to Andrew Terry, Marriage unknown, Divorce unknown.

Martin Parker, B 1962, D 1962.

Julie Ann Parker, B 18/02/63, has 4 children from marriage to Kenneth Shingler, Marriage unknown - Wayne Kenneth Shingler, Faye Mary Elizabeth Shingler, Craig Harold Francis Shingler and Joanne Katherine Shingler.

My Brother and his kids:

William Parker, B 28/09/65, has 3 children from his marriage to Mary Catherine Vernon, Marriage unknown - Richard William Parker, Sarah Parker and Amanda Parker.

My Aunts and Uncles Kids (Mom's side):

Linda Parker married Danny Podmore, date unknown, and had 3 children - Sarah Podmore, Amanda Podmore and either Darren or Gareth Podmore?

David Parker married Norma ? date unknown and had 5 children - David Parker, Died aged 3, Phillip Parker, Steven Parker, Adrian Parker and Julie Parker.

Paul Parker married Kaye ? and as 2 children, a Boy and a Girl.

Lorraine Parker married Tom Leary, date unknown and have 3 children - Lee Leary, Linda Leary and Gemma Leary. Lee is now in the Army.

My Aunts and Uncles Kids (Dad's side):

William Parker married Mary ?, date unknown, had no children. Mary was married before to ? Bates, date unknown and they had 3 children - Colin, Elaine and Ollywn.

Victor Parker married June ?, date unknown, had 9 children - Victor Parker, Linda Parker, Steven Parker, Robert Parker, Carol Parker, Teressa Parker, Tracy Parker and Keith Parker.

Nora Parker married ? ?, date unknown, had no kids. She remarried Mick ?, date unknown, had no kids.

That is pretty much all I know so far unless I have forgotten anything? :)

Hi Bren, thanks for that.

Mom told me Pam was 2 years older than Yvonne so I presume she was born a Devlin and that is right! I wonder if Mom got it wrong and she was in fact 2 years younger than Yvonne? Mom said she was 12 when she died, she died in a swimming pool accident. She was brought up by Mom's Aunt Laura and Uncle Fred Allen so I don't know if they adopted her and Allen is on her death certificate? I am seeing Mom again Friday so I shall check up on this again.

Yvonne had Mark before she married Mick. I think he just took the name on when she married?! I thought Mark was born in Birmingham, oh well what do I know! LOL.

I have found someone who is related to the Allcott's, I am really chuffed! I have sent you a guest invitation to look at my Family Tree so far on Ancestry.com if you like? :rolleyes:
 
Meriden was in Birmingham, thats why it had the same volume number, it's only in the more modern records it has changed.

Joanne was born on 13th Jan 1994 at Heartlands Hospital. Her middle name is Katherine.

Don't worry if you can't find it. :)

I found out today that Pam Devlin is not a Devlin but presumably an Allcott as Mom had her before she got married by a different partner.

Regarding my Uncles and Aunts, I haven't been able to find out any dates yet.

Hi Bren, if you are not to busy can you help me out on this please?

I am finding it hard to go further than my Dad's Mom and Dad without knowing any more than what I know? If I knew something I could find out their parents etc.

I spoke to Dad on the phone today and he said his Dad, William Parker, died in 1959, Wolverhampton. He didn't say what year he was born only that it was January 1st.

His Mom, Catherine Parker MMM Percival, died in 1940, Wolverhampton. Again he didn't say what year she was born only the date, March 23rd.

I do know Catherine's parents were Thomas Percival and Florence MMM Ives.

Can you help please? :rolleyes:

A copy of the certificate should give ages at the time, and Father's name and occupation.
