I realised afterwards that the Vinnicombe from the 1939 reg would not be on Birmingham erolls as the address was outside Birmingham.

In 1939 he seems to be in James Turner Street.
I assume that is the father of the Robert listed with a Margaret on 1939 reg when they seem to be in Halesowen so won't be on Birmingham eroll.

After some digging. There seem to be a few people named Robert Vinnicombe.
The one on the 1939 register was born in 1913 and is not the son of the one I found on the eroll. So no connection.
