Oval Road Erdington

Hi Paul,
Can I ask what is your connection with Oval Road,? I ask because that was my stomping ground as a young lad.
I lived on Gravelly Hill, went to Ryland Road School, and spent an awful lot of time in Oval Road, including the circle at the top.
 
i lived in hawkesyard rd in the sixties and used to walk up the sandy banks to the the oval to play football,i also went to ryland rd
 
Hi Westy, Just got back to this forum after a long spell away.
When were you at Ryland Road ?, I was there from early 1943 to December 1952.
So far I've managed to trace 1 of my old schoolmates, if you were there the same time as me, perhaps you could "PRIVATE MESSAGE" your name to me.
