Last week I visited birmingham to see a relative who is now living in a care home. I realised I was just a road away from where Mom and her family had lived at the start of the War. This house is still there, and it was a funny feeling to think of them all there living their lives. I stood there - discreetly - looking at the house wishing if only I had a time machine to go back to 1939 and be able to see my lovely Mom as a young girl!

I've often thought that too, I would also take a decent camera with me.
 
Hi there everyone,

I would really like to add some pictures of Birmingham which I took in 2015 when I last visited the city, but not sure where to place them? As this thread is for "Old street Pictures" I'm in a bit of a dilemma! Could someone advise me?
