Do you, by any chance, have any REALLY old photos of the Rag Market, say around 1920-30, ideally interior, but exterior if not?

Here's one.

Lyn i remember running down there , everybody used to queue and wait for that gate to open and then it was a mad rush to get the bargains. Dek

I will sort mine out in the morning and copy them. Pete has to lift the printer for me and he is doing something at the mo and I don't want to disturb him. Jean.

The photo on post #2 is one that I remember very well. My mother used to love going in that place, through the arched doorway, to rummage amongst the old things...clothing mostly as I recall...I hated it then, and resisted going with her. The dreaded words...'that would fit you'...Funny...now I like to do exactly the same thing, when I get the chance. Strange how time changes things. Jamaica row in another life time.
One never thought back then, that one was standing on the spot of the very start of Birmingham and down below was the buried remains of the old Manor House with it's surrounding moat.

I loved the rag market used to go with my mom on Tuesdays lots of bargains, always found something nice, learnt very young
how to sew, because often the dresses i loved would be a little long or lose, was never allowed to buy shoes from there,
understand why now,

This picture looks a bit later 1970s or 80s i would guess.
Moss.

Another one a little earlier, It's either the 50's or the early 60's.
