Viv I'm so glad you've put this photo up, I lived in Cambridge tower behind the Hall of Memory at this time . As I was going into town I was walking were the Woodman pub was , Mr Chamberlain was obviously finished his work at the theatre for the day and was walking toward me . Brown belted leather coat white sneakers as the yanks call them and blue jeans I recognised him straightaway as I used to watch Dr Kildare a few years earlier . Thanks again VivRichard Chamberlain (of Dr Kildare and Thorn Birds fame) appeared there in 1969.

And how did it feel to be on that great stage?I've been on the stage at the Old Rep!
There used to be evenings classes upstairs in the studios and I went to a Mime class, we put on a little show at the end of term and performed to a small audience.
I don't think I properly appreciated how honoured I was to be in the footsteps of so many great artists! And how did it feel to be on that great stage?
